This company made zero effort to make a situation right. I was left behind on the start of a tour because I couldn’t find the group. There was no sign, no phone number or WhatsApp number that went directly to the guide. The meeting point was a popular, enormous square in Rome. They didn’t collect phone or emails from ticket holders to make any attempt to find lost guests. It’s a SCAM!!!! Do not purchase. Use AirBnB Experiences instead. I am a seasoned traveler and have done many tours. I have never once watched my tour leave as I walked from tour group to tour group trying to find the right one. To make it worse, they made no effort to make the situation better and their emails were firm letters. Avoid!!!!

Ratri is a wonderful tour guide. She was very welcoming and I had an amazing experience. All the information she gave was very interesting and my trip to the Eiffel tower was worthwhile because she was amazing as a guide.

We booked directly with them for a tour of lake como. We used their directions to find the meeting point but we’re having trouble looking for it. So we called the number provided as we were getting closer to the time of departure. The man we spoke to on the phone said he could not reach the tour operator and was of no assistance. When we got to the train station (meeting place). We met 3 other people who also could not find the meeting place. Some of them had been there 30 minutes prior to departure. When we called again, a lady advised that we were late and the tour guide left already. She said that the tour guide left at 8:25 when the agreed departure is at 8:30! Then she also said that the tour guide called us, but we never got a call, the other people we met also did not get a call! Then even said that we should have called them earlier (we told them we did call earlier..and did not get assistance). Ultimately, she said there was nothing she could do. We even asked if we can just catch up, we just asked for them to tell us a meeting point in como where we could meet. All 7 of us were willing to take a train to meet them. But again, we were just told that there was nothing they could do! This is really terrible customer service! I would never use this company again. Would never recommend them either.

I would leave zero stars if I could because they totally left us and then we were still charged for a tour of the Louvre we never went on! We could not find our group and despite making several attempts to find us they simply left without us and then charged us. We were unable to visit the museum at the 9AM slotted time and I had a child with me. Totally unprofessional.

City Wonders canceled our tour we had arranged more than 70 days before, leaving us a sold out venue and no alternatives. A week before our travel date they cancel saying, “the museum canceled all tour tickets”. This seemed unlikely to me so Zi checked it out. Two other tour operators told me they have never had that happen and a call to the museum found they were equally unaware of that ever occurring.

So I suppose add dishonesty to poor customer service.

We booked a guided tour of 1h30 in the Sagrada Familia. Our guide, Arantxa, gave us just what we needed. Clear explanation and information. It was a nice tour in a small group.

SCAM company, we paie for a visit, it was not carried out, no refund or solution is offered by the company!

Booked through Viator to see changing of the guards walking tour London for 24/04/23, Turned up to our group for guide to tell us than guard change wouldn’t happen but could still walk though, we and other people decided not to go as that wasn’t what we paid for, I emailed your place straight away to let them know of our situation and received an email this morning saying no refund as guard change did happen, I’m extremely unhappy as this was our first time in London and maybe last time, yesterday was our last day in London so totally feel let down out by wrong information given to our group.

The tour guide amil did a great job!

Used city wonders for Venice Basilica and Doges palace. Believe it was 2 hours. Good amount of time and good infor. Guide was great and good English.

Tour of Vatican museums & Basilica only included a small part of the museums. Get a skip-the-line ticket and do it independently with a personal audio guide.

Booked Tower of London tour over 2 months in advance. Spent $40 on Uber and arrived to meeting place on time. No one we there so called number on my confirmation paper I printed off and brought with me. I was given the run around and put on hold multiple times. The guy eventually told me THEY emailed me and asked to move the time? I have no receipt of this email. He also refused to let me speak to a supervisor and also would not send me proof that this was sent to me. I also asked why I wasn’t called! This ultimately ruined the rest of my only tour day and cost me hundreds of dollars getting around for absolutely no reason. Please do not use!!!!!!!!

Myself,son and his partner met one of our guides,Roberto from Panama,at the Piazza di Popolo.He may recall me as I gave my name as Antonio,aged 75,and I sat in the front seat behind the driver,Antonio,with my son.In the adjacent front seat was our other guide,Enrica,aka Frank.What an amazing pair they are.From the start of the tour both guides kept us fully informed of everything we needed to know about the tour itself,and much much more. To say they were very entertaining is the very least I can say about them.We had a beautiful,sunny day and everywhere we went we were fully informed of the history and tourist info.We all had a wonderful day with Enrica and Roberto and once again I would like to thank them both very much for the experience they gave us.We plan to return to Rome,will definitely book a tour or 2 with City Wonders and hope that we get at least Enrica or Roberto,or both,as our guides.I cannot praise them enough and my son and his partner concur.

We got scammed! We booked a tour a the Vatican Rome last Saturday at 3pm we showed up on time 2:45pm to see no one was there, I called their number didn't exist so offcourse we missed the tour and now city wonders refuses to give my refund back. Do not I repeat order your tours with City Wonders! SCAMMERS!!

We had booked a tour of Harry Potter World with CityWonders, mainly because the ordinary (and cheaper) tours were sold out. We were a bit worried after seeing bad reviews. However, it turned out to be a very successful tour. Everything went smoothly, and the staff was very competent and friendly. Specifically we thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour with Salsara, our very knowledgable, friendly and enthusiastic guide. The tour with CityWonders was good value for money, as we all feel that we got much more out of Harry Potter World having our own excellent guide. We can recommend this tour with CityWonders.
